David grew up in Burkburnett, Texas, and has maintained his small town values and work ethic in representing clients. After graduation from Burkburnett High School, David stayed close to home attending Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls. While a student at Midwestern, David found himself in the middle of organizing a successful campaign for Amarillo attorney Beau Boulter, who was elected to the United States Congress during David's junior year. After graduation, David went to work managing political matters and legislation for Congressman Boulter, the late State Senator Teel Bivins and Ambassador Kay Hutchison. Additionally, David was appointed as a member the Texas State Incentive and Productivity Commission.

At age 29, David decided it was time for a change and started to SMU Law School. While at SMU, David was invited to join the SMU Law Review Association, an invitation extended to the top 10% of students. David was also a member of the Board of Advocates where he began to build his litigation skills and graduated Cum Laude. David's career has been comprised of litigation, representing clients in contract issues and professional board representation, which remains true today and has grown to wills and estate planning.

David’s primary goal in practicing law is to become a trusted advisor to his clients. During his legal career, David has obtained numerous jury verdicts for his clients throughout courtrooms across Texas. Additionally, he has successfully lobbied on behalf of his clients, assisted many businesses with complex legal matters, and represented numerous clients before professional boards. David is regularly invited to present legal information to gatherings of legal and medical professionals and has published numerous articles on a variety of legal issues. David is a member in the Texas Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association, the American Health Lawyers Association, and the Texas and Dallas Bar’s Health Law Section.

David and his wife, Ronda will celebrate 36 years of marriage this year and could not be more proud of their two daughters.
