Lacie Friday was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She earned a Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2011 and a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Texas State University in 2002. Mrs. Friday is also a licensed realtor and educator for the state of Texas.
During law school, Ms. Friday was very involved with Texas Wesleyan's law clinic where she helped families with various legal issues including divorce, custody, and separation of property. Ms. Friday also worked for several years at Lesser & Jordan, PLLC, a law firm focused primarily on consumer and civil litigation.
Shortly after admittance into the Texas State Bar, Ms. Friday opened a boutique law office that provided legal services in bankruptcy, debt defense, consumer law, and family law. In 2019, after seven years of running her firm, Ms. Friday accepted a position as an associate attorney with the Criss Law Group.
